NIA conducts raid in Bengaluru once again
Bengaluru: In a recent operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a decisive raid in Bengaluru, apprehending the suspected militant. Subsequently, NIA officials orchestrated extensive raids across different city sectors, including Shivaji Nagar, Pulikeshi Nagar, Sultan Palaya, R.T. Nagar, J.C. Nagar, and Chinnappa Garden, encompassing over 20 locations. The NIA’s proactive measures, linked to concerns regarding potential ISIS connections, unfolded on December 9th.
During the meticulous raid on the suspected militant’s residence on Moore Road in Pulikeshi Nagar, NIA officials discovered and seized a substantial amount, exceeding 16 lakhs in cash. Additionally, they secured crucial items such as laptops, pen drives, and Ali Abbas’s mobile phone. Having gleaned vital intelligence during the initial operation, the NIA is currently engaged in renewed raids across various parts of the city today.
